17" corvette rims
these are my rims, 3 years ago when they actually looked right... I used to be all about keeping my stuff clean, but for the last year or so I ignored it because of a busy schedule and lack of motivation to do it in my spare time, and I didn't realize how bad brake dust could mess things up if left alone
so I went to polish them finally and they're shiny again but covered in little dots that I can't get out... all over
does anyone know if there's something I can do to get them looking right again? or do I need to get them resurfaced? is that even worth it or will I be better off getting new rims?

Nice wheels. Those dots are probably from brake dust mixing with condensation or water to form an acidic substance. Idk if this will work, but I saw this guy took off the finish on his chrome/polished (?) WS6 wheels and then polished the hell out of it. It turned out preatty good.
