Yeah, this thread just reminded me of that scene from Reservoir Dogs, where he cuts the dudes ear off while "Stuck In the Middle With You" by Steelers Wheel was playing. Such a great scene.

 

First off you shouldnt have been racing.And second we have all done it at some point.However it sounds like it wasnt your fault for the most part. If you had already started slowing down then he pulled the ricer fly by then cut two lanes it should be on him. You did the right thing by keeping a good head about it. Sorry to here about your loss at least no one was hurt.

 

Yeah, lucky I keep my cool with most things that don't go my way.
This guy was probably 3 inches taller than me (I'm 6'1) and about 250lbs.
Good thing he was a nice guy and took the blame too.

Update on repairs: It got to the body shop last wednesday...I've heard nothing =(

Yeah... car accidents suck [] It's going to take like 2 weeks and $3300 to get mine fixed.

 

Is your frame ok?

 

From what I can tell, mine is fine. The front clip/radiator support and all that is pretty messed up though.

Called the body shop, they're in the dismantling process...
They say next Monday for sure.
