So this is my very fancastic Monday afternoon.
Its a nice day outside, about 80 degrees, sunny, perfect convertable weather.
Driving a few friends home from school, I take my normal way home down the highway.
Turning on to the highway, a riced (Rims + Coffee Can Muffler) Civic decides to try to race us.
We're ahead a few lenghts and I start to slow down because of a busy intersection with lots of traffic.
Ricer Fly-By!
Theres three lanes at this intersection, right, left, and left turn. We are in the left lane.
Civic rattles by doing about 70 in a 55, cuts infront of me and another car into the left turn lane, but theres
a car waiting in the left turn lane. The Civic plows into the back end of the car waiting in the left turn lane,
lifts the back end of the car up and pivots into my lane. By this time I'm slamming on the brakes, but just not
enough room to stop completely. We T-Bone him doing about 25, I guess the added weight of 3 passengers was
enough to slow my stopping distance. My front left fender, hood, and side panel are crushed and very ugly atm.
Plus it was enough to bend up some framework, afterward I was leaking something from the front, I assume it was
antifreeze, didn't have a distinct smell. Insurance estimated about 3-4K in damages to my car, the other two were
totaled. PLUS, insurance might not pay for my car because the ricer was driving without a license/insurance.
So yeah, atleast I hit a ricer =P.
Anyone got a spare SLP SS hood I can have?

awh man! What a downer! Stupid riced out Civic, although you probably shouldn't have been racing him anyway, that was a retarded move on his part.

if u have under/uninsured liability coverage (which i cant imagine u dont... as everyone NEEDS IT) insurance has to pay. that type of insurance is designed especially for those tims when the guy that hits u cant cover it
