Yeah,but I don't think it's gonna catch the other thread any time soon.

 

The gutted cat has been around a long time. Almost as long as this thread. It started when there were the pellet style cats. Those needed to be gutted! The pellets would melt and form a solid inside the cat. You could refill those style though. No days with these cats its pretty much useless........unless your going out to beat a viper of course

 

what if you have the black and gray kind of cat, can you still gut it?

I have been experimenting. I have found some interesting things out. Bananaswork well for back preasure in the tail pipe. ping pong ***** fit into the gutted cat well and sound cool. The whole sticker adding HP thing need to be re-evaluated, they give less than first anticipated and duplicates do NOTadd more. Lightly coating the springs (suspention related) also seem to add raw HP, but only if you coat the front ones.Vented breaklines - bad idea, I went through like 2.5 galons of radiatorcrack filler (bars leak) before the lines worked right.
