400 hp isnt that impressive...... if were talking crank i made that with just boltons

but no, the 350z will not take a ton of boost on stock internals

2.0 turbo or NA.
Mines NA if thats what your asking.
I have personaly never seen a twin turbo four cylinder honda in person. In fact the only ones i have seen are on forums and youtube and they are not built for power more to say hey look at this. Yes its kind of cool just like the the guys running SC/Turbo miatas and TC's however once again its for show not making power. Both the 7.3 and 6.0 powerstroke use good size turbo's. Even one turbo of that size's by its self would be a large compresior for even a well moded K20 or built B18C1.

Second you do not have a older version of a EVO enigne. The early first gens run a 1.8 POS latter on it was replaced by the 420A the 16 valve DOHC engine is the same engine that comes in the dodge Neons it has nothing in comon with the turbo 16 valve 4G63.
Yeah he drives his silverado (Ford Mechanic driving a Chevy... lol...) unless its sunny and nice out and he will drive the honda occasionally its not riced out, its completely stock in appearance inside and out.

As for not having an older version of an evo engine.. i know that... but they are both 16 valve DOHC 2.0ls no? Thats all i ment..

i heard 350z's are one of the few cars that u can buy and just slap on a turbo and the stock internals can handle. dont know if thats true or not, but thats what ive heard
You can add a turbo to almost any engine with out building internals. Its a matter of setting a safe range of boost, A/F, timing, etc.
well i mean ive heard u can put a turbo on a 350z and get it to over 400 hp and not change a thingin the engine. dont hold me to a word of that, its just what ive heard
You can put a turbo on a LS1 and get well into the 500s and not change any thing in side of the engine. You can Get over 300 wheel on a TC with just a little tunning and fuel mods to support itl thats up from 150 wheel horses. The 350Z is a fun car to drive but parts are expensive and going forced induction on them is both extreamly expensive and time consuming. The RB26 and even the RB25 are both good for well into the 500s on stock insides and the 2JZ will make it almost to 500 on its stock roting assembly and the list goes on and on. There are a ton more engines i could list but in short just about any engine out there can run boost and make a noticible gain with out internal work. A good example in the GM world is the little known 2.2 Iron Block Cavalier. The little iron block loves boost. I have personaly seen a old iron block 2.2 with a stock bottom end that makes maybe 110 wheel horses on a good day but down 246HP and 254torque with nothing more then a good turbo set up, tuning and fuel mods. This is an extream case on a strong little engine that loves boost. In short just about any engine will gain considerble gains from forced induction depending on the set with out upgrading any internals.

LOL yes. They are both rated as 2.0 engines. But that's where the similarties stop. There is a reason people dont just bolt up the turbos off the turbo DSM's on to the NA cars. Or even try to swap them out. It is cheaper buy a DSM strait out then it is to try and swap the two power plants. Every thing from the tranmission not only be totaly diffrent and facing the wrong dirrection to the wirring harness and motor mounts and ecu. Trying to use parts from a 420A on a 4G63 is useless since they have about as much in common as a B16 civic and a LS6 Z06.

Oh well yeah. I wanted to get a turbo off a f/i version of my car at the junk yard that was in reasonable running condition but it had been picked apart like no other pretty much a running driving shell.. no seats.. no real interior... I went and looked up the schematics of it all and it was really expensive and not worth the time or money.
