yeah thats not going to happen..... we have a member well on his way to 6000 posts. the 5 star ranking will continue to follow the top posters. I may find something special to do for the top posters, but back with the old system people complained that it was too easy to get stars. now they complain the other way

 

Star count doesnt bother me. I am a top poster that means more to me than any amount ofstars..

Yes guys you are all right he used his mystic 3 legged cat and had like 10 stickers which we all know those will give you 10-15hp for each one depending on what the sticker is. Then don't forget he neglected to metion the fact that he went up against a viper messing 6 cylinders you know had to be handy cap if he only has 6cylinders to begin with.

I hate tall tail racers or my bad wanna be 'racers' I had a friend who would say he whooped up on the new GT's and beat Pontiac Firebird Trans Am's with he little 4-banger honda. I went up against him in my truck and to be fair since he told me that his engine is new and he can't rev past 4 so he had half the power I only went half throttle and still went ahead of him.

I don't know but 6's aren't bad but if you are missing 2-4 cylinders then you more than likely won't win especially if all you got is a gutted catalic converter. I took a 6 in my truck but it was at a rolling start.

 

Thats not hard lol. I beat an S197 GT in my Camaro and i was running on 7 cylinders and bald tires.

 

The 3 valve GT is a fun ride and i will admit i love driving them. But i would not trade in my LS1 for one. I think a LT1 and a S197 with average drivers is a pretty close race with the stang having a little edge near the top of the power band. LT1 F-body is a very low 14 second car stock with loads of torque down low. The S197 is a high 13 second car with a good amount of power throw the mid and upper part of the power band.

And for the ricers we have all heard the storys. I love it when i catch true ricers talking down to V6 guys. Like all its only a 3.8 thats crappy man[>:]. Its even better when that near stock V6 goes out and kicks there cans right to the curve. Thats right V6 guys some times i kind of like it when you spank up on ricers

 

I hate to say it but i agree with army and spec on this one. Its too easy to post whor your self away and get post. As i was saying before just because you have a ton of post doesn't make you a good member by its self. I think 4 and 5 stars should remain special and maybe add something new for admin, mods, contributes, special members. I would also like to see section mods come back where each section has a local mod. Of course every has heard me rant about the ride of the month so maybe we will start a section over there to continue the conversation on that one.

 

Speaking of ricers and V6s... my old mustang is on craigslist.... and i feel shame and sorrow for it.
