spark plugs or o2? have u gotten the codes read? because that sounds like a shot in the dark. the only code you will get from spark plugs is a misfire, and your SEL will be flashing.

 

yes i got the scanner from autozone did the scann and i go this

1. random/multiple cylinder misfire detected.
2. manfacurer cotrol auxiliary emission controls.

i looked them both up and i was only able to find out what could be causing number 1.

after i checked it.. i checked all the coils.. (spark plugs are a pain in the *** to get to) and the hesitation stopped... then last night the check engine light came back up... so i dont know what to do now.

 

how would my stock rs 5.0 do against a stock celica?

Your 305 is about even with the 3.8. the 3800 has more power, but the 305 makes up for it in torque. So you would be about the same place the 3800 camaro would be.

 

I would go all the way to redline. Your v6 most likely poduces good power upper rpm and you want to be in that power when you come into the next gear. Try testing out which way gets you faster 0-60 times.

 

Im actually kind of scared to redline my car... i down wanna blow a head gasket or anything.. but ill do higher rpm see how it works out..

 

I dont think he was saying this in response to you....I dont think redlining it is going to solve anything or give you more of a clue as to what your problem is.

 

i ended up racing one the otherday kinda biffed on the launch and still beat him so there no prob

 

gts only have 140 hp ull have him a gts has 180 hp that might be a problem cause its much lighter
ull kill the gt tho!
