The camaro seems faster I have seen it on the street. My LT1 was faster than a LS1 T/A. as far as price the TA normaly is more expencive but they come with leather, monsoone, and all the look good package.

 

Stock vs. Stock, An LS1 has about 1/2 of a second advantage with all other things being equal. Typically a stock LT1 will run a 13.90 to 14.10 in the quarter and an LS1 will run a 13.40 to 13.60. Again, with ALL other things being EQUAL. Darn, This is a long winded thread.

 

between 315 and 325 flywheel for both really... theres not much difference in the SS package.

I thought tha T/a had alil more hp cause of tha ram-air? Pontiac claimed 10 extra hp when up to speed i think. But then again tha SS has an ram-air hood option too...

 

They are both under rated. GM claims the SS makes more power because of the ram air. However, ram air does not come into play until you are running at over 100 MPH, and then the extra drag of the hood scoop will probably use up the extra power.

i would go with the camaro...i think they are more legit and pontiacs have to much added ****..like electrical stuff and they tend to have problems with all the options they put on..remember less weight=faster! good luck with ur choice

 

I love camaro's but an F-body is still an F-body... I'd go for the WS6. what color are you thinking of? Sunburst Orange metallic is probably my favorite color on them but the black ones look so badass.
