No he's not. You're probably talking about in 05 because in 05 they got 210 out of the Type-S but in 05 the standard RSX was still 160hp. Or at least thats what it says here \/ So it doesn't matter either way. **** I'll just "gut that cat" for some reassurance!!!

They're like dawg slow, i took 1 from it from the hole and he pasted me got about 2 1/2 cars on me and i was in my 89 lifted Blazer and i kept up with him. It's really nothing to worry about you should have it in the bag, but like rockin85 said practice brakeboosting and you should have it with no worries. Also you have alot more torque then him.

 

cant brakeboost an NA car . brake boosting is typically something turbo cars do from a roll to get their boost up higher. even at near redline you wont make as much boost while rolling because the engine isnt at WOT and under load. less exhaust flow= less boost, hence the need for brake boosting.

 

i think you'd win, i beat one once in my 96, no clue what model, and it was also a rolling race, but it said RSX on it(was newer too) rolling from 40 to 80, and at 80, i was about 6 cars on him.

especially when my friend's turbo eclipse can walk all over any RSX he sees, and my 96 coulda beat that eclipsenight and day, so im not even gonan say it'll be a good race, i can almost garuntee you'd smoke it.

 

The type S also runs with the 6 speed. They are able to pull high 14s with little problem and with just bolt ons run down into the mid 14s. A normal guy on a fair normal day will probaly run a veary low 15.
