My friend's got a 90' vette with a crate 350 TPI, some minor engine mods(roller rockers, valve springs, etc), long tube headers, no cats,flowmaster 40 series cat-back,and 6-speed manual. I've got my good old 305 TBI 5-speed. We ran at a couple of lights and he beat me every time obviously but I didn't get murdered AS bad as I thought I would. I actually had him off the line every time, which put a smile on my face, but went away as I watched him pull away every time. Me and him are puttin a super ram, cam, and heads on his vette this winter. Can't wait to see how he runs then.

What year? Mine runs a 15.2 with 3.23 gears

 

you have tpi duff the tbi will tend to run in the 16's or higher....

 

I never took it to the track although I'm hoping to this spring. I'm hoping to get high 15's low 16's, since I'm gettin real used to my new clutch and workin on my launch. But the vette is like a low 13 sec car so he pulled away like I didn't have a V8 lol.
