And a Nissan Titan in the rain~
Was actually on my way to work this morning- came up to the head of a red light, next to a bigass truck. The light changes and I hit the gas as usual- enough to typically get far ahead of the rest of traffic.
But this truck guy just keeps right beside me, pulling ahead slightly. Then the realization clicks in, I hit the gas a bit more, he keeps himself ahead of me up to about 80 km/h- Now, I've not given it more than half throttle 'cause it's wet out and my crappy tires like to lose traction, but as I hit 60, he's about two car lengths ahead and roughly 80 km/h- and I floor it. I reel him right in and whip past him at 140 km/h.
Then I brake carefully to get back down to the speed limit :v Gave him a wave as he took his turn-off and all was well in the world~

traction in rain? no way! in my v6 stangbangger and my z28 go get er, i will spin spin spin.
but 140 kmh is that 120 mph?
also was it a semi or a stupid v10 turbo diesel? them f*s dont understand the physics of 35 mph doesnt mean flooring it until you "have" to slow down.

I'm running Radial T/As so they aren't that bad in the rain, but they're worn and do like to spin when the road isn't perfect. Gotta get some money so I can buy something better~
Edit: And 140 km/h- if I was in a DeLorean, I'd be going back in time

I suppose power to weight ratio can only go so far, lol. Mine works out around 24lbs/hp as compared to his 15lbs/hp.
Ah well, I ain't complaining~

I lost to my buds F150 racing in the rain for the same reason mentioned. He ran up next to me and took off while I just sat there and spun. We were both doing about 15-20mph. He had fun with it the next day telling everyone that he beat the badass Camaro bla bla bla.......
