i raced a friend of mine in my 1988 camaro 2.8 vs his v8 ram from a 30 roll and he smoked me but then we stoped at a light then turned green and i smoked him bad he told me to stop messing around and tell him what i have in my car but little does he know he got dusted by 170 hp camaro just estimating on the horse power

 

oh yeah forgot it is a 5 speed standard

I doubt you smoked a V8 Dodge... Depending on the year, a V8 dodge would just about eat my doors and my motor makes a lot more power than yours... If it was a 90s model I still don't even see it happening... The Dodges have **** top end for one. The 318s only made 235 HP or something... But made quite nice torque numbers for an older low end engine... Somewhere around 310 I think? The 360s only made 245 hp and made like 345 torque... So I don't see much plausibility to this story at all...

You basically flip flopped your story. Not to mention his truck probably only weighs about 700 pounds more than your car...

 

Also, since when could you get a 2.8 that had a 5 speed? I thought they only made autos with the 2.8s...

yea, they were slow. but they still had enough Torque to smoke em.. our's use to smoke em good. lol.

 

well guess what i did beat him from a stop but on a roll i didnt and its and older dodge and i dont really care bout the stats cause i smoked him next time i will video tape it cause we raced again today after work at a 35 roll and i lost but we went at a stop sign and i once again took him
