cobra R doesnt get compared to anything. its too damn specialty. the vette and the terminator is a good comparisson

 

LS6 > 4.6 SC Cobra 03-04
LS1 > 4.6 32 valve N/A mach and cobra and (3 valve 05 and up GT)
LT1 > 4.6 2 valve
5.7TPI > 5.0 GT/LX

How can u compare an '03 Cobra to an LS6 vette?
Nowhere close in price range I wouldn't think...
U can get an '03 Cobra for close to 20k...
And wutDO LS6's go for?

the whole point was Ford HAS made a Mustang that can take down the SS camaro...

But it also has about 1.1 fewer liters than an LS1...

If you want to talk about ford and chevy lets put the 3 valve GT VS the LS3 camaro. Both are around the same price range and will be in the same class. Camaro has around 100 horses over the GT plus a lot of guys will jump at the 6 speed vs the 5 in the mustang. The camaro will cost maybe 2000-3000 more but thats the only down side.

 

The older Z06C5 in fair condion with a few miles run in the low 20's about the same as the SC cobra's
