last night on my way home from work i just happened to see an Evo, we raced twice and he lost twice. I have a new respect for my car. i've been happy all day because the mighty evo is little rice burners answer to everything.

i talked to the guy for a while and he was pretty cool. he said he lost because he was running 18lbs of boost not 20lbs.... i thought that was a lot for one turbo. will someone tell me if those boost levels are correct please

 

dont kno anything about boost levels but what type of car do u have? any mods?

 

Well, I don't think so since you have a basically stock SS which would put you in the low 13 second range, I would think an Evo running 18psi would run 11's, or at least low 12's.

 

i have an 01 SS, its bone stock for now, and i definatly beat him twice, maybe he was just a ****ty driver. but all in all... i won.

 

Evo's are awd are they not? Did you race him from a dig or a roll?

 

2 races from a roll. he would have destroyed me out of the hole... but one was from a 50 mph roll and the other was from a 65
