Tonight i ran a 2001 tubro saab. He had some nice mods, one of them was the tubro he had, he was pushing 14 psi, so i was a little hesitant to run him. I'm not sure what type of saab, but it was quick as hell, exspecially when the turbo spolled up. Anyways, we start talking, and he's telling me he can get me from a 40 roll and from a dig (dead stop). Since his cocky-ness was pissing me off, i said f*ck it! We threw down $40 and made the rules, it was going to be the best of 3 races. 1st race was from a 20 roll, in which i edge him by the bumper. 2nd race we did a 40 roll and he won by a car and a half. Finally for the tie breaker we come to a dead stop. I heat my tires up while he tries too lol. I saw he has FWD so right there i knew i was gonna have him. The "1" is called and we did a run up to 120mph. I got a huge jump! And spanked him by 3 or 4 cars. It was fun, and he shut up about how fast his car was for the rest of the night, and oh yeah i won $80!

 

Good kill. Racing a car from a roll is a waste of time as far as I am concerned it is not drag racing.Too muchdepends on what gear the transmission happens to be in.Don't give them time spool the turbo.

 

yeah well like i said in other posts, where i am its all imports and 4 bangers thinking there tough lol.

The only reason racing from a roll ever came around was to give cars with a 4 cylinder and a turbo a chance to compete with real cars
