My whole car, including buying the car, and the new engine cost me less then 3,000. Get a 2nd gen, and built a stroker for it!
Its the cheapest way to go really really fast! Just my opinion
Why get a few more ponys from bolt ons, when you can just bolt on a new engine?
Sorry for you non small block guys. But, this is all coming from a small block/big block crazed dragracer, so don't listen to me XD I think differently then a tuner, or restorer type.

he beat him pretty soundly. as expected given his mods especially because it was from a roll. i honestly want to ask that mustang driver wtf he was thinkin calling out a bolton camaro [&:]
"hey man, your HEAVY (~100lbs more than mine) *** car cant hang even though you have about 60 more rwhp than me! take that!"
stock mach1 dynos around 260rwhp, ive seen it personally. stock ls1 300rwhp (of course not if you ask the lt1 guys at the firebird forums[:@]). only way the mach is close is because of its gearing and the little weight difference. LS1 with LTs is around 330-340rwhp.
sound logic there mach dude

Yeah I knew I would win but it did run really good to be a stock car. I dynoed at 340 rwhp remember and I have seen a Mach 1 dyno 267 rwhp. I have a steeper gear ratio too so thats 2 in the bag for me. For any of you guys that are on the MF forums his name is USMCrebel. I talked to him the other day and he said he shifted never letting off the gas. He has around 40k miles and on his second tranny and third clutch so I guess that speaks for itself.
