well, on my way home from work tonight, im just listening to my music and i am at a red light, a civic flies up to me, and slams brakes(queeks tires slamming brakes) the thing is a POS. rust all over, but it had 18-19 inch chrome rims... anyway, the light turns green, and he smokes his tires, takes off like a bat out of hell, and all i can hear is a turbo spooling. im thinking this isn't good(i didnt try to race at first light)..

we get to the next light, and he looks over at me, rolling his head/eyes, laughing, and started revving this POS car(sounded like **** from exhaust, but all i could hear from front was aturbo). so i say, what the hell, why not. i rev my lil ION back, and keep the RPMs right at 3500. light turns green i dump the clutch, smoke then through first.. he starts to pull, shift into second, sqacking them all through second, still hanging at his rear tire, shift into 3rd, queak the tires and finally they catch, <3 3rd gear on the ION. i pull up to his window, past his hood, he's at my trunk, shift into forth, get to around 90 and shut down.

of corse, it doesnt end there, he has to do a famous ricer fly-by.. goes by me doing 110+ as soon as i tap the brakes, again, all i can hear is a turbo...

good thing i shut down when i did(he wasnt spinning.. but idk) cuz after i let off, he seemed to be pulling a hell of alot harder than i was, and he went off into the distance doing easily 140(my car shuts off at 108...)... and i get to the next light, and guess what, there he is again.. staring at me this time.. i roll down my window, so does he.. i say "you just got beat by a economically powered peice of tupperware", flipped him off, rolled window up and made my left turn

 

and btw, it was a mid 90s 2 door. looked like a EX or DX. but no way in hell was it that little 110HP car.

and when i say the turbo was spooling. it was spooling, could hear it over my subs, so i dont know if he was burning his clutch or what up till about 90, cuz 1st time and during fly by he was booking.

 

wow driver error? bad clutch? Who cares! lol you beat a after market turbo car with an ION! HAHAHAHA
