so yesturday im drivin to some party and i turned onto a side street which was a wrong turn and an 05/06 GT pulls up behind me and flashes his brights a couple times when we turned onto the street he decided to run to a red light 1/8 a mile away? i no he had exhaust and he had some drags in the back.The kid asked if i got my car at the junkyard..considering i have one of the nicest camaro's ive seen? and i get compliments on it everywhere i go. Anyway from the start i spun a tiny tiny tiny bit then hooked, he had me for half a second? if that then gone i hade him by about 3 1/2 lengths up until 90 (which i was still pulling more throughout the whole race) i shut it down at around 110. But it was nice to see him 2 cars behind me stopped at the light afterward

 

good kill, ive beaten 3 with equal if not more mods by more than a sec at the track w/street tires, and about 2 at the airstrip with built bottom/top ends.

1st-the guy in the Mustang was an ***. Here in the rust belt (I am in WI) is where cars look ratty 1st, and I havn't seen a "junkyard" looking 4th gen yet. Some third gens, and lots of 2nd gens, but not 4th gens. Yet.

And what all do you have done to your car? I have the mods in my sig, and I take LT1's down with suprising (it was to me anyway) ease. LS1's, not so much, but LT1's, unless modded, don't give me any problems.

Good kill though. A win is a win. Hell, I beat 89/383strokers Camaro with my Mustang. Ok, he didn't have any gear above 2nd, but a win is a win!!!!

With your mods he should have taken you. Especially if he had slicks on the back, because even on a stock car slicks give you between 1/4 and 1/2 a second in the quarter. And who puts slicks on a completly stock car?? Not usually the 1st mod if you catch my drift.

I guess it all boils down to:

Good driver mod>all
