Turbo teg if hes not full of bs is most likely a turbo LS. If so he could match a stock lt1 going heads up with good ruber anda goodclutch. However a ls1 would be a different story. Its hard to say with out running them and seeing the car. But who knows. I watched a evo run low 12s all day Sunday so not all 4 bangers are slow hell I ran a 14.3 with a stock SS cobalt that was inpresive to me. However I see a lot of post about import kills. Ok lets face it unless its some punk *** kid who thinks his 4 inch exhaust adds 30hp its getting kind of old. And beating a car that was built for econmy to a car that was built to kick *** is not that impressive. Sorry man but your talking about a car that has 1/3 of your engine and has half the cylinders and is made with MPG in mind. Now tell me you beat a MR or STI now that’s cool or how some punk kid was talking trash at the track and then missed second gear. Or how the crx that had spinning hub caps blew up before it made it out of the parking lot know that’s not so bad.
Yea i agree with cbr600rx7....some of those cars are pretty qick and not everyone that drives them are ******. I like camaros and tuner cars. Hell i mean im not going to lie i got beat by about 8-10 cars by a turbo gsr integra...but only once he got traction past about 40...lol
It’s true any thing is possible in our world lol. 20 years ago during the 80s some claimed the sports car was dead and in fact there where very few factory cars over 300hp being produced just like the 5.0 mustang putting down only 210 to the ground, 305 tbi 180 hp, this where shells of there former selves and ford even considered ending production of the mustang, GM also considered the end of the camaro in the early and mid 80s lucky for us a loyal fan base would keep her around until 02 it’s a shame. Even the vette’s had trouble making over 300, now you can buy a 500 hp V8 off the lot with a 5 year warranty. Hell just the fact you can buy a 300hp 4 banger would have been a joke back then.
