Cobalt SS supercharged
This was awhile back but it was my first race in my camaro. I was driving into Fremont, Ne. And had exhaust cut off at time. This yellow cobalt pulls up beside me with a fart cannon and revd it up a little. So i gave him some back. We then proceeded to a red stop light and it was on like donkey kong. The light went green and we both hit it. My car started to go alittle sideways becuase it was wet. but i soon caught traction and was going. Next thing i know I hear is his rev limiter. He had mis shifted. MWHAHAHAH he should have beat me. It was a stock 150 horse 1984 camaro. lmao. Thats my story.

Yeah, kid i went to school with had stage two stuff when i had my camaro. If he knew how to shift he would have walked all over me. Now he has stage 3 mods and its pretty fast.

The SC cobalt is incredibly hard to get off the line. It treads a fine line between bogging and wheel hop even on a well set up track on a good night. I watched a SC/SS run a 15.8, 15.3, 15.1 in the same car that had run low 14s just a hour before because he did not know how to drive the thing.

Those SC Cobolts can turn some impressive times if the driver knows what hes doing. I ran one at the track in my V6 and I had a better r/t and launched pretty well, he spun off the line a bit, and by the time I hit the 1/4 he came by in a blur. was too late tho, I won even though he ran a faster e/t, lol. Takes some practice to get those things running good times.
