raced him saturday.. but i dnt have internet at home.. im at work online all day... so heres the story..

we raced 3 times... it was videod by one of his friends... this is what he said to me "i brought a camera so when i win i could have proof." i said ok win or lose i wanna post a vid on the forum i belong to he said ok..

1st race. Raced from a dig.. i got s decent launch, not the best but i still came up ahead.. alll through first and seconnd gear he was right on my tail.. started gaining on me.. 3rdi pulled a little more at first then he started pulling.. ended he was at my door...

2nd race. from a dig again.. this time i got a real good launch. Better than the first because in the end i came out about a car nd half ahead..

3rd race from 25 mph.. he has an auto so probably started in 3rd...i was in second so i had an advantage.. won that one hands down...

he said he was going to post the vid on youtube.. ill let you guys know IF he does

told people the 2.2s arent as bad as ya think.. and congrats! those cars are a ehll of alot fast in stick FYI.. i mean a hell of alot..

and yes i bet its somehwat faster in manual... but how much faster i dont know... but the car defenetly got my respect.. with a couple mods (depending how well it handles htem) i can see these cars being somewat of a sleeper

 

yep. the only problem, is there is no tune available for them. which completely sucks. go look on youtube for some ION/Cobalt videos, you can instantly tell the difference in the autos/manuals. the manuals are, like i said, a hell of alot faster.. not just somewhat faster. it's amazing at how much faster they are, glad i stumbled upon like the only standard one the local saturn dealership ever owned. lol.
