My ex recently got a 2002 VW bug with a turbo and she wants to race against me. I've got a 94 Camaro 3.4 V6 not many mods except a K&N air filter. My odds of winning? Also mine is a manual and she rolls an auto.

 

well i just got back from the v-dub site, and it said that the new 07 beetle with the 2.5 was 127 top track speed and 0-60 in 8.6 seconds, if you cant keep up with that, then you wont win.

 

shes got about 20 HP more than you. a 1994 stock 3.4 has 160 HP if im not mistaken and the 2002 VW beatle turbo s has 180 HP

She wants to race me. She went out and spent way more than she can afford to and is now all full of herself and has been challenging everyone to races.

 

Well, it's got you on weight, but not on aerodynamics. If it's a long race, I would expect you to take it. Short sprint to 80, the bug might have a chance.

 

Your best chance of winning would be from a roll. It all depends on how good your reaction time is compared to hers. Oh, and don't miss a shift!

We haven't decided yet what the winner would get. Anything cheap I can add to my baby to beef her up before the race? Like I said I've got the K&N air filter and my ride is lowered if that will make a diff. What would be my best odds to beat her?
