any car can be made to be fast. i don't think im unbeatable because anybody with more money can make a faster car, it could be a tuner or muscle. There are some fast tuners but alot of ricers(with crap cars with crap mufflers) act just as cocky even though they can't back up anything either! there stock with a crap muffler. Tuner's actually care about going fast and i respect anything that goes fast but just because its a certain type of car doesn't mean there the **** or the fastest thing! i just love fast cars even though i'm more of a muscle fan 
if its fast then cool and I respect that but if it's just a stock riced out honda trying to rev at every car they see then that's annoying lol

You guys like whatever car you want, in the end the only car that matters is the one that makes you happy.
To me, a Honda is still a Honda. Built or not, fast or not, I'd drive a Camaro with a stock Iron Duke in it before I'd drive a Civic. Even if that Civic happened to have 900hp.
And, I think if you want a fast car, you're smarter to start with a fast car. I'm probably not far off the mark in saying every mod you can do to a 4-cylinder Civic can be done twice to a V8 Camaro.

but whats the point of spending all that money on a economy car to begin with? to be something special? your not standing out by having a quick civic, the ricers already butchered. i can respect a built import like a 350z or 300z, eclipse,evo,3000gt you have somethign to work with at the start.
im not sure how a 3.4 got drugged in this but, how much would it cost for a civic to boost the stock torque of a 3.4 or a lt1? without throwing on a turbo? thats just the point you have to turbo it to run with n/a engines. is it worth it? **** no. money you spent on that pos to run what 13's? you could bought a z06 or put a good payment down on a lamborghini.

yes, a stock DX or LX (which most on the road are) is gonna get beat. but you should probably stop bragging about your high 15 - low 16 second ride.

hey guess what? no it doesnt. 145 hp 215 tq. 3.4 makes 160 hp 225 tq. remember torque wins races. and it was a 17.3 second car.. it was, before, some internal work. (says the 3.1 owner, wow that was a low blow on both sides)
a honda is a honda grocery craving unlimit miles to the gallon car. type r's i ran a integra type r, stayed closed with but couldnt pass me. and it pooted a puff of white smoke/steam.
these ole stock 16/17 second cars are still crapping on the newer brands. change out my 2.73's its just no way a si or type r will stay anywhere to read a single letter off my bumper.

HONDAs ROCK!!!!!!!!!They can be built for less than 3k and be good for 300whp easy!!!!Oh and a type R would murder a v6 camaro plan and simple they run 14sec all day long stock.....theres your grocery getter for ya!!!!That is all have a nice day!!!
