TA runs a RPM built stage 5 4L60 with a mosor 12 bolt and 3.42 gears.

The cobra runs a stock tremic with factory IRS and 3.73 gears

if you swapped 4.10's into your TA it would do high 10's and with the OD the final gear ratio would still be around 2.7

Turbo cars tend to like longer gears and you want to stay out of over drive if you can help it. Plus i can drive too and from work about 15 miles with out hitting boost and get about 20 MPG.

3rd gear is a 4L60 and a 4L65s 1 to 1 gear. 3rd gear is 1.000 and 4th is .0696 so you want to stay out of 4th if you can help it. First and second is where the 4L60 makes its money over a TH350 with a first gear ratio of 1st 3.059 in the 4L60 vs 2.52:1 in a regular Th350

Hey cbr, does that 60 trim spool up pretty quickly? If you've had it dyno'd does it run out of breath at all towards redline?
