So i wasout on our local "circuit" and there was all kinds of rice running around but one little prelude decided to be brave. We pull up at a stop light he pipes me off, i laugh and give it a little rev. He launches like a turtle so i knew i didnt need to do much so i light my tires up and shoot passed him beat him by about8 cars (were talking stop light to stop light hahaha). Next race for the night was a 1990 GT pretty nice looking car i knew i had nothing to worry about but out of all cars out that night he was the only one worth racing. So we are rolling at about 30mph he gives the 3 honks i drop down to first and shoot like a rocket he didnt stand a chance from the get go igot him by about 5 cars and pulling but had to let off due to traffic. We ended up pulling into sheetz and talking for a little while then we rolled back out.

magnaflow catback, 4.10's, and a slp lid, so in other words pretty stock lol. Thanks for the replies to fellas next, when it get warmer out i got a race set up with a 1999 Ford lightning that has a cold air, flow bastards and he says hes getting new pullies so im thinking i may lose but it will be fun.

 

yeah those trucks can be real fast, very easily...i guy i know has a 2000 lightning that runs low 11s and is street legal...but should be interesting none the less.

 

Not with that list of mods. Lid with 4.10s you should be pulling low 13s if not 12.9s easy. Lightnings are inpressive but they are heavy around 4500 pounds. She should pull low 14s stock. Boost with out fuel and tuning and only bolt ons should run mid 13s.

 

Then thats great to know thanks bro, id really like to run him before and after the pullies but im not sure when hes getting them. so i think we are running sometime early next year and were going to do a daytime race and get videos so i shall keep you guys posted and throw up the vids when it happens.

 

Should be a good race but if you get out from the dig you should just pull away.
