I raced my buddys 05 sti and he missed his gear and I blew his doors off. Ihave an LT1 full exaust morso coldair intake. the STI had turbo down pipe, full exaust, 6 speed,and aftermarket blowoff valve. Mine was a auto 4L60E. If you haveraced any imports i would like to here about them.

im guessing that if he wouldnt have missed a gear you would have gotten your doors blown off. Ive beaten one of those older nissan 300 w/es a riced out new edge mustang with GT badges and kazoo sounding exhuast.. even i felt embarrased for the kid kuz i had a car full of people. also raced a GMC Sierra 1500 that had some work done to it but idk what other than appearance, exhaust and it was lowered... blew his doors off and he still gave me a thumbs down as i flew past him....

 

Yup, the only way you'll know for sure if you're faster than him is to race him again. You did beat him that time.

 

The STI are very fast even stock! I was at the track this weekend and saw one laying down times of mid-low 12's! He may of had a few mods but there was another one who looked and sounded stock doing low 14's high 13's. Fast cars so savor your victory!!

 

With his mods he should have beat you, if it he were stock it would have been a race.

 

The Scooby Do STI is faster than your LT1. They had one of them go up against astock 04 GTO. The GTO lost, this was on road and track TV.

 

Dont get me wrong its one of the faster imports and it might beat me if he hitts every gear maybe ive road in the car and he let me drive it its got alot of turbo lagg and i got nothin but tork. weare already talking about lineing them up again il keep you posted it will be a good race

 

my money's on the puddle jumper, but should be close.

 

the stock LT1 has no Chance... If its the WRX STI... he will rape you, hes running with a car thats 800lbs less weight, and 331 HP and AWD, you got no chance, if it was any lenght of a race, he can start in second and win... Sorry, im not a fan of those cars, but they are pretty fast...
