I hate it when rich kids get cars from their parents!

I am in the same predicament too. I work on cars and that is all that goes out on MOPAR. Suspension so it isn't a surprise to me that the tie rods went in less than 26k miles....

I so agree. Especially here in Santa Barbara. I cant tell you how many kids in these subarus and evos and little high power 4 cylinders are running around here thinking they are the ish... Then there was this cocky kid in a Boxster that I shut up publicly; it was ugly for him... Up a hill from a dig...

I can agree with the chryslers, I wouldn't be exaggerating much to say that 1/3 of the fwd dodges we see have had the transmission rebuilt or replaced. I work at a quick lube and we see 30 cars a day. Another thing that perplexes me is that the power steering racks leak on every one, from the neons to the rams...
Of course, chevys have their issues too. Undersized brakes ftl.
I don't know about those srt4 though, unless they buttoned the whole chassis down. 70 was frightening in my buddies sxt.

I am REALLY disappointed in the Charger and Challenger R/T's. I have kept dead even with 2 of the Challengers (I am pretty sure they were racing) and the Chargers are a joke. The SRT-8's are tight, but for the price difference alone between the R/T and the SRT-8, I could build a 500 HP N/A LT1 and the requisite tranny and rear end upgrades to support it. Gotta love GM!!

That is exactly why I work at a GM dealer, not Chrysler dealer. Oh and the rich kid that his parents bought his SRT for him, his dad has a Viper, his mom has a Lexus, and he just got a brand new yfz-400 quad I think? Not sure, I don't know much about quads, but I think that's what it's called.
