I have an uncle who is a Ford guy [>:] But he's got a pretty sweet 67 stang! And with everything he's done to it, it's gotta be fast, the guy has his own small Bridgeport mill on his property, he's just one of those guys.

Anyway, the stock fox bodies weren't that fast, they were only in the low end of the 200 hp mark if I'm not mistaken.

Can i ask why people are obsessed over the 5.0 then? I hear it all the time, "so and so got a 5.0, that cars MEAN!" etc. etc. Am i missing something?

 

stock they arent much, but they can make some pretty good power pretty easily with an HCI setup, and fox parts are very cheap as compared to many other cars

 

+1 they can really wake up with only a couple thousand $$$thrown at them

 

the best mod would be a sbc
