If the world was really moving underneath us, wouldn't all our basements be leaving giant marks in the ground??? I apologize to you Californiers who do not have basements, (Floridians too, and whoever else I forgot).

Actually you guys do bring up a valid point. Really velocities all depend on your reference frame. If the car is your reference frame, technically the world and universe is all moving in relation to your car.

Example: We all know that jet liners travel really fast, like 400+ mph fast. Now, if you throw a penny in an airplane, what does it do? It comes right back as it would if you weren't moving. You and the penny have the same overall reference frame. The penny is still moving at 400+ mph if you're viewing it from earth, yet to you, it's only moving up and down. Welcome to general relativity guys. What starts getting crazy is when you learn that time actually depends on how fast you're moving and so does mass...And thus ends our brief physics lesson. Now lets get back to mustang killing!

Isn't it crazy how planes fly 400+ mph and when you look at them, they look really slow, must be the specs on the endline of the rotary gerter.
