I was heading out to pick my girlfriend up from work and had a white 2006 Mustang Gt roll up beside me and he gives a little rev. I rev back and its on. He speeds up and gets in front of me. Once we get a clear shot, we both take off. He was about a car in front of me when we kicked. i shot into the other lane and blew his doors off. I ended up beating him buy about 5 cars. I not sure if my cars stock lol.

 

How do you not know if your car is stock? lol.

Cuz i bought the car the way it is. the only thing that i have had done was the 3.73 gears. and the only reason there is only 21 posts is cuz i work all the time and dont have time to get on here

Yea if that was an auto mustang, they are kinda slow from a roll like that. I test drove one when they first came out. An auto with the 3.31:1 gears. It took off kinda quick but from a 50-70mph roll it felt like my silverado pickup. But the 5sp with the 3.55:1 gears likemy brother in-law hasfeels like awhole different car, way faster, might have given you more of a run.

 

A bone stock LS1 will kill a 5 speed 3 valve any day. With gears he never had a chance. LS1 is a little lighter and has a fair amount of power on the stang about 30 or so horses and agood load more low end kick i drove a bolted 05GT for about 7 weeks. Not a bad car at all and i can say it was a blast when the car was newer back in 06. Best i have ever seen out of a bone stock 3 valve was a 13.7 anda stock f-body will run low 13s all day stock. With gears in the Fbodys corner he has a good advantage.

 

I wish i knew what mine would run. I dont ever have the time cuz i work 7 to 7 6 days a week. But when i had time i ran an 8.3 in the 1/8th is that about right? I have found a stock mustang that was able to beat my camaro

 

if theres a stock stang out there beating your ls1 and its not a cobra or mach 1 then.... its not running right.....

 

Only one stang will beat that LS1 stock man thats the 2003-2004 supercharged 32 valve. Even the mach1 and none sc cobra fall well short of the LS1. No 3 valve or 2 valve gt will even come close.
