thats a pretty bad time for a new GT. ive personally seen a guy that couldnt get out of the 15s with his. just a crappy driver and acted like he had to ask a committee before each time he shifted.

usually they are mid 13s, even average driven ones should go 13.6

 

After reading about them, it seems that the new GT has an advantage because they have a fairly decent rear suspension, in terms of launches.

Obviously drivers ALWAYS come into play though.

 

Of course the driver has a lot to do with it but this guy was just being an idiot about it so of course I had to stand up for myself. LT1's still have fangs!! Not the best but they can still do a good job.

And it seems like most new gt drivers are just spolied kids and they cant drive it at all. Theirs a kid at my school who has a new gt who i beat by about 2 cars.

 

with your mods, that sounds about right...
