Trans am wins hands down. There will be no coming back for the GT. Keep in mind the LS1 has a massive top end that loves to pull. From a dig the trans am should kill him and from a roll the trans am should jump out and pull away with little effort.

That said, sounds like an interesting turn out, although it sounds like you raced too long. My car has taken a new Stang in a 1/4 mile.

well this might be the reason he lost... his clutch just went out, or i think its the master cylinder. the car is now siting hope to fix it before saturday!

The new mustang is no slouch, but is still stock for stock no match for the TA/Camaro's. There a heavier car with less TQ and a few less HP, a lot depends on the rear end of the 2 cars,

s197s are a little underrated. about 320bhp, where the ls1 is around 350. however its a tad heavier than the fbody as well
