Trans am wins hands down. There will be no coming back for the GT. Keep in mind the LS1 has a massive top end that loves to pull. From a dig the trans am should kill him and from a roll the trans am should jump out and pull away with little effort.

That said, sounds like an interesting turn out, although it sounds like you raced too long. My car has taken a new Stang in a 1/4 mile.

The new mustang is no slouch, but is still stock for stock no match for the TA/Camaro's. There a heavier car with less TQ and a few less HP, a lot depends on the rear end of the 2 cars,
