Default January 2012 ROTM - Modifications

It's Time To Vote!

We have 4 Excelent nominations for ride of the month this month.

1971BB427 With his 1946 Austin (10 GS1 Saloon) Gasser modifications:

Here is the new aluminum heads, cam, 1.6 rockers, stud girdles, gear drive timing set in-progress photo for the Austin Gasser. Obviously going through some test fittings.

MicroKid with his 1986 Camaro Z28 Modifications:

LED lights upgraded on the 86 Camaro. If you look you can even see the kid

Cheeks with his 2000 Camaro Z28 (Race Car) Modifications

Cheeks was lucky this Christmas and got Strange Race Brakes Front and Rear, Trickflow 235cc cathedral port heads with T&D Solid Roller Rockers, custom spec'ed comp cam (278/285), Super Vic Intake. Cheeks its not fair if you live with Santa... Since we can only show one photo, here's one that really sucks.

and SloBalt with his, 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS.

Balt has a few nice upgrades as well, CAI, Magnaflow, and LED+halo headlights. Again only one, but these lights take the cake.

I've got a few more too, but seems they mised the original posting. The Austin is going in this week for it's new color, and engine mods are completed. New color is 1975 Corvette Dark Red Metallic.

I gave it to the gasser. I remember reading the build and I was pretty interested in all the stuff he did to that little thing. Awesome build for sure!

very, very few... not to knock balt, just saying we don't have many chances for him to get in on the fun.

Thats a good point!!

Good news is that I have made my decision on what car I will buy the end of this year. An LS2 is a little too much for my budget when I can get a 4th gen LS1 SS or Z for less and be just as fast if not faster. So I may run for ROTM again with that later in the future
