November ROTM voting - V6 all years
Lol yeah I'm not a fan of Pewter but thats what I own so oh well. I go through cars quick though, so either I'll make this car what I want, or it will be traded rather quickly, we'll see where the cards fall.
In reply to another poster, FYI, my wheels *are* OEM and original GM...
The RS has about 65k mi. -- I am the 2nd owner and it is my 2nd V6 Camaro.
At this point Evilkal has my ROTM vote (haven't voted yet, though), but I am not usually one to jump the gun to vote early (I can't vote for myself -- that would be silly!), because he has done some power mods that I may consider in the future or similar to improve TQ/HP. I would have to give a thumbs down vote on some of his suspension mods (QA1 shocks!), however -- I like handling, straight lines get boring...
I think his side mirrors would look better black to go with the black top...
I see this ROTM is a big popularity contest (no I don't care if someone didn't like what I wrote in the Big Brother Camera thread -- it has nothing to do with ROTM!), and is somewhat superficial -- probably why I never paid much attention until I had three nominations. Also, this thread is pretty NON-focused on ROTM, which is pretty disappointing.
Some talk about their cars and their work done just to keep their ride on the road -- IMHO, that is not a ROTM -- to me, ROTM is about bettering the car as a whole -- improving all characteristics, or at least some in ways that are innovative and better than OEM... Also, what you plan to do in the future has no value in the current ROTM -- submit your car in the future then for THOSE mods. Just a little thought behind my vote narrowing process.
Another thing to consider, since my mods have not gone deeper into the engine yet and are external bolt-ons -- the car is still covered under my extended warranty (assuming no mods cause a covered failure, which they have not). This point is a big deal for anyone to consider in a daily driver, when still under a power-train warranty.
A couple of my other pics, not yet in this thread:

It's everything I have just to keep my Camaro on the road. Believe me if it would stop breaking down, I'd be modding the hell out of it. Seems like it breaks down every month and every time that happens it costs every penny I have (sometimes more) to fix it... And everything I've done to the car HAS bettered it as a whole. Better to have a ton of brand new OEM parts than old factory parts that have 183xxx miles on them.

Dont worry Caotic he is not just talking about you. I listed a few future mods for my car and others have too. He was refering to all of that. No biggy.
I choose SOM for my vote.
Funny thing is Sunset Orange is my least favorite color in the line up but his car as a whole is nicely done and nicely presented.
