Well I decided to pull the pistons out once I got the head off and saw the cylinders were scored, I got everything apart, and for the most part the engine is really nice inside, all the journals are nice and clean. I gotta look up the specs on them and make sure there not too worn (I have no idea on the mileage)

Wasn't the old engine a 4 cylinder?
JB Weld outta fix that thing right up!

lol my dad said gorilla glue and duct tape

just got done with the pnp on the head and got the valves all ground and the springs installed (factory double springs )

still got a couple parts to get,
VTEC solenoid - 40$
head gasket set - 70$
header - 70$
bearings and rings - 85$
maybe a set of type s cams if i can find a good deal

i also have to get the oil squirters cleaned i tried blowing air through them and there gummed up

im thinking by thanksgiving ill have her running and up at around 240HP

got just about everything i needed today so the motors coming together. right now its sitting on the stand drying (i degreased and power washed the block, head and oil pan) waiting for a quick coat of paint.

now im just waiting for the header, down pipe, and VTEC solenoid to be delivered
