Eckler's corvette parts is where... don't remember brand... paid 515 for it. And it's the dash harness, which is the one with all the clipped wires. I may need to get the engine harness as well but we will see. Fortunately fiber optics are all good though.
holy ****. seriously. dude.... My entire Wiring kit for the entire car was only $500 and it was American Auto Wire. that included all the wiring harnesses, the new fuse panel, under dash lights, dome light and extra circuits and provisions for add on stuff.
I just looked at American Auto... same price for the same harness. If I don't get the harness by this weekend I'm going to spend the time going through and re painting the gauges and what not I think. The speedometer and tach definitely need a touch up. Biggest issue so far: mud dobbers. They squatted EVERYWHERE
Check Zip-corvette next time for supplies. Eckler's is usually one of the most expensive in town, I use them only when necessary.
The harness at Zip is only $16 bucks cheaper, but you could use that to save up for your soon to be needed nerve medication.
And Scooch, what was that you were saying before about Vette stuff being cheaper? lol

It seems that almost any car is more expensive for correct resto parts, vs. universal parts that would do the same job, but not be concours correct. That's one of the drawbacks of bringing a car back to what it was when it rolled off the assembly line.
