yeah it is. since the hood has been pancaked we installed a filler panel from the core support to the front of the car.

today revealed some old speaker cut outs in the package tray, no big deal but what was funny about was how they were cut out. some one drilled it out by drilling next to each other to cut the piece out.

Actually not that surprising if you think about it. No room to cut from the top, and from the bottom even a jigsaw wont make all the turns without hitting the trunk divider. Not everybody had a jigsaw back then either, so probably his only choice. Sure would be a lot of work to do it that way though!

all the work is going to be covered up with the new metal that flows into the t-bird seat

well the car has been sitting been way to busy on other things right now but going to get back on it next week. got the 59 impala roof piece on one more little rust spot to fix then the front suspension is coming of to be painted and we are going to paint the engine compartment before it goes to paint because it is way to hard to get in there with all the front end together.

well here are some new pics from today! the whole nose has been torn apart and the final date has been set for sending her to paint! she goes the weekend of the 24th!

here is the nose all apart and the a arms steering and brakes all painted silver.
