know of any place i can get orginal 1968 plates for my camaro. the car had tree plates on it when i bought it. now that im done restoring it i want to put the old plates back on it.

Oregon issued the blue plates with yellow lettering from 1965 through 1974. These were the plates that I mentioned earlier that I "converted to custom" and registered on my 1996 Mercury Sable Wagon ( see photo ). I got that matching set on eBay. There are almost always matching sets of both the blue and yellow plates available there, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding them. Just be prepared to pay more for plates in good condition. thamks for the info. ive found some NOS plates from a old dealership that went out but the guy want alot of $ for them

I almost got a set, but I photoshopped it first to see about the color. And I don't think teal and yellow/blue jive, lol. So I'll probably stick with my crater lake plates.

I like the Crater Lake plates. In fact, that's what I probably would've gotten if they hadn't come out with the Pacific Wonderland plates.

I want a PW plate simply because when they're gone, they're gone. Just don't have the car for them right now.
