Exclamation Roots VS Twin Screw

Hello Folks,

I know the Roots Blower isn't the most efficient air mover but when it comes to the "Pro-Street Look" it has the brutal power to back it up(Hot Rod Magazine 741 HP & 621 LBFT of TQ with a 400 SBC 9 PSI).

Using E-85 as fuel & an Air/Water Intercooler can a 8-71 or 10-71 be made to be as efficient as a 3300 Twin Screw Supercharger?

Twin screw are so good compared to roots blowers that they are banned by the NHRA for use in alchool dragsters and funny cars. Probably because they don't want alky burners to get too close to the nitro machines.
