would it hurt a 94 Z to run a 75 shot of nitrous? i heard it would help to retard the timing somewhat..... i know this will effect the idling , but can it change anything else?

 

That might a bit much for starters. I'd try a multi stage kit and start with the lowerst setting.

 

thanks i bought a 50 shot injector.....being that i like my engine running, i will soon put that on .....any opinions? am i doing the right thing?

 

That's a pretty safe kit.

 

i hooked up a 100 shot. it was a dry shot and my car still runs fine. its a 91 305 so i think your plenty safe with the 75. i made about 20 passes on the nitrous, not to mention just messing around in town.

 

yea thanks im new with the whole idea of spray...... i was looking for a method of boost and nitrous seemed to be the cheapest, and ive heard good things about the power it makes.. so thanks everyone for your input on this

 

It's a good base to start with and you can keep that upgrade when you change out the rest of the motor and intake.

 

I ran a 150 shot on my 95 z-28 with no retard on the timing and no problems to the motor ran about 2 bottles through and no problems just keep an eye on the oil pressure and I would really get my self a fuel pressure safety switch so that if your fuel pressure drops to a unsafe level the nos shut off to keep from blowing your motor

 

you should be able to tank that 50 shot no biggie for a tester. 75 isnt bad neither
