Has anyone heard of a Super Spiral?
I was looking up superchargers and turbochargers for the heck of it and on ebay this thing came up call a super spiral...? Here's the ebay link for it, hopefully it works http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...=p4506.c0.m245
Just wondering if anyone has heard of it or knows if it really works.

Hilarious, there sure is a lot of JUNK on EBay... My favorite EBay auctions are for the "250 horsepower & 100 MPG" super chips for like $15.00 & another $20.00 for S&H.. I pray that nobody has every bought one.

ha ha, dont waste your money. The blades spin at 65000rpm , my @$$ !! They dont metion it uses the monentum from your intake charge to make it work , thereby reducing flow and creating an obstruction in the pipe that tuners usually want to remove!!!

Hate to tell everyone something but electric motor driven superchargers do work, kinda! They need a 5 to 7 Hp motor to drive the compressor and draws over 350 amps of battery current, very short battery life, hard on battery. I drove an early prototype off and on for a year and was helping with drivability, but it only appeared to add 20 to 25 HP. If there is a potential market, with time, they will make it work.
The spiral is a smoke screen and somebody is trying to get into your pocket. It works by restricting the inlet air flow and increases low end torque but at the expense of high end power, horsepower! Like the difference in high flow or low carbs on a NA motor.
