Just purchased an MSD 6LS ignition with the little plug-n-play harness. Talked to a guy at illinois dyno center with one of the most wicked camaro's ive seen and he said he gained 30rwhp just changing out the ignition (and playing with the timing software).

Just bought the NX EFI Race kit sans bottle (I already have a zex bottle here). and im fitting that up to a NOS ls1 TB plate . I called about getting just a quick tune to make sure everything is safe, and the tuner said i could get it done myself with the msd and plug checking and swapping fuel jets.

so the msd was shipped today, NX will process the order tomorrow at 1:00 (bank troubles [&:]). I will pull a few degrees of timing, and set up for the 100 shot. I have a friend with hp tuners, while i dont have credits, he can monitor my car for free, and I can make the spark and AF changes myself [8D][8D]. hopefully I can get myself safely up to the 150 shot here in a couple weeks.

ive been sad since i lost the kit with the mustang. Ive had a full bottle just sitting here with nothing to use it on. but only a couple more weeks

ya, this place is way slower than MF so everybody gets bumped faster

 

hmmm im thinking about doing a nos system when im done with my motor. that or a turbo...
