Whatup, (relatively) new Camaro owner
Can't wait to get back from Iraq and enjoy my Camaro...bought it in really bad shape as a project car a few months before I deployed, and so far have replaced just about everything it seems. It now has a brand new LS6, LS6 heads, huge cam (sorry, I forget the exact numbers at the moment), Hooker headers, Pacesetter exhaust / Y pipe, rebuilt 4L60E transmission that will soon be getting replaced with a T56, I'm just not sure about what I want to do for suspension, wheels, paint, and a few other things yet, which is why I'm here. Needed some ideas. My goal for it is more street racing than drag, I want handling, cornering, braking, etc. not just straight line speed. I'm also thinking about a supercharger / turbo, a friend wants me to spray it but I don't know if I want to do that yet, if at all. Anyway...I'll be around. Some great looking rides on here so far...keep it up guys (and girls)!

Currently I only have a few pics of it when it was still torn apart in the shop heh, I'm in CA and the car's back in TX I'll see if I can get the guy doing the interior to take some pictures of it and send them to me ASAP though. He's welding / painting the rollcage into it, replacing all the leather apholstery (sp?), headliner, new trim, and redoing the window tint. It'll probably get a new paint job and definately some new wheels when I get back, I'm thinking about either blacked out 5 spokes (car is currently black, if repainted will be an extremely dark shade of blue, almost black).
The car in early stages of being torn apart...
The engine being built in my living room...heh.
More pics to come soon as I get them from the shop. Oh, and to answer Iowa87CamaroRS : it's a 98 Z28, or at least that's what it started life as...heh.

That is a very nice piece of machinery you have there pal...can't wait to get mine done...it'll have the 3.1 in it for awhile, but oh well, the looks are what's most important now...the engine will be a side thing to build and have fun with
