Default Wanted a 2010, ended up with a 1999!!!

Greetings everyone,

I went out this past weekend in hopes of buying a 2010 SS but ended up buying a 1999 Camaro SS Convertible instead. Yah, silly I know but I thought the car was just too good to pass up.

for $15K I found an white SS drop top with a 6 speed and with only 13702 miles on the clock. Only 800 miles in the past four years. 100% stock and it was up on wood block to not dry rot the tires. I swear to god I can still smell the new car leather! The car is tight as a drum, never seen rain and no rock chips on the nose. It has about 100 hp less than the new one but it does weight 400lbs less and gets better mpg. The way I see it, I spend about $2500 or so and I will end up with essentiall a new car with performance at or VERY near the new 2010. With the top down the car is pure class.

Default here is a good pic

I have named my sports cars in the past because they have all had some personality, but I have not driven this one enough to decide if it is a guy or girl.

Default another pic

I have a goal of driving a near sleeper. I want it fairly quite (no loud exhaust) but I want 400 hp. Seeing as how many LS1s dyno at just over 300hp to the wheels, I think 400 druable horse power should not be too hard.

Thoughts?
