Default T-tops or not?

So I have the money, my truck is sold and I am wanting to buy a 3rd gen. I really want a manual with t-tops. I found an iroc which is just that but I also found another that is a hard top with an auto. The t top is 3000 and an 88 iroc with a rebuilt 305(its ok I have a 350 4 bolt main sometime to be a 383 stroker!!). The other is also an 88 iroc but is way closer to where I live but for 4000. I don't know the exact condition of the first because it is so far away. I don't want to compromise and regret it. What do you guys think? Thanks Scott

Go woth the one you want. Even if its farther, you already said you dont want to compromise and regret it. Post up some pick once you got it home.

Definintley atleast go look at the one thats farther away. I had to drive 4 hours to get mine when there was another one 5 minutes down the road. 5 years from now, you won/t remember how far away it was, but you will remember how much better it was than the other one.

Exactly as said above. Don't focus on the short term, look at the big picture. Which car do yousee yourself wanting to drive, then make it so. Otherwise you'll regret it.

So the clutch went out durring the test drive on the one with t tops and I was gonna go back and buy it after he fixed it for the same price but it sold. Aparently there was someone who had put a down payment on the car awhile back and they were taking to long to buy it and he couldn't get ahold of them so he was going to sell it to anyone. Well the apparently came back and bought it this week. Then I found out the other car sold last saturday. So now I'm back to looking and have been carless all week.
