this is first winter I have placed a car in storage
looking for advice

in the past I have left a vehicle in an in heated garage
or just left in driveway

 

Add fuel stabilizer and make sure the tank is full and non ethanol if you can get it, run it enough to get it through the entire fuel system. If you have a power source hook up a battery tender. Make sure the interior is dry and there's nothing in the trunk that's wet, you don't want mold to happen. Rodent traps around it are a good idea, mice can do a lot of damage. Poison is a bad idea because they can crawl up in your car and die. Make sure your antifreeze is up to date.
