Default Please help!

I just picked up my 2015 zl1. I took the belly pan off to do and oil change and I found this tube. I checked everywhere can’t find where it goes.

The only thing resembling it that I could think of which missing would also not cause an immediate obvious problem would the fuel evaporation control (EVAP) pipe. One end of it would be connected to one of the two pipes leading to the fuel tank, and the other end of it would be connected to the engine. However, that being missing should eventually throw a trouble code. Also, that part could actually be a hose and not a pipe like the one you have.

Is it possible that it came up from the road after falling off another vehicle?

thanks for the reply. It looks like it has never been clipped into place, No marks at either end. Possibly dropped in at the factory by accident and couldn’t remove because the belly pan?
