Well I suppose the shop you used didnt tune the car properly. Take it back and ask for a retune. For free

Hopefully they did not away with the O2 sensors before the cat, otherwise tha car has no choice but to run crappy. The front O2s are needed by the PCM to compute the proper air/fuel mixture. The ones after the cat are only used to monitor the condition of the cats, and do not affect how the engine runs, but will light the check engine lamp if they are missing.

Well, if they removed the front O2s, good luck trying to make the engine run properly.

Removing the O2s before the cat won't damage the engine but it will run poorly because the PCM won't be able to properly adjust the fuel/air mixture and will stay in open loop mode.

I'm a bit shocked that any legitimate shop would even remove them. It's a hefty federal fine if they or you get caught removing EPA equipment.

Yeah, the whole story sounds wierd. If they really removed to front O2s, they are a totally clueless bunch. lol
