Default pickup 88 iroc convertable in the morning need manual

hi i'm the new guy; pickin up a 88 iroc convertable in the morning. a friend of ours son bought the car 2 years ago and was transfered to korea. the car broke down on him a few weeks befor he shiped out. He covered the car with the intension of restoring it when he returned but got married and told mom to sell the car for what she could get for it and I jumped on it. the car is all there and stright. not sure about the drive train and motor but from what I understand it was a exhaust problem only.

I'm going to do a compleate restoration on it and wanted to here some feedback from yall on the best manual to buy. Looking forward to getting to know some of you. Thanks

The Factory Service Manual set from Helm, Inc would be a great buy. They can usually be found relatively cheap if they are used on ebay or amazon. If not, they can still be had brand new.
