Hey everyone,

Yesterday my future father-in-law (a master mechanic with his own shop) gifted me an '84 Camaro as a project car.

I don't know much about the car yet, other than seeing the driver's side (it's tucked away in the back of the barn) - not sure whether it's an L69 or not, but he did verify it's a 305 with a TH700 auto.

Looking forward to gaining some insight from everyone here, and finally joining the Camaro family, as I've always wanted to.

Welcome to the forum, post up some pics of the project when you can.

 

I'm going to be digging the car out of the shed this weekend and will definitely post some pics, to be able to look back on where it all first started.
